Shipping module configuration in the PowerHub system
The Configuration / Shipping module tab allows you to define default parcel sizes and weights that will be used when creating shipping orders. This makes the shipment preparation process faster and more automated.
Parcel view
On the left-hand side of the screen there is a menu with the Parcels category. Once selected, a table with a list of previously defined parcels is displayed on the right-hand side.
The table contains the following columns:
- Name – any name identifying the parcel type (e.g. small, large, standard).
- Length – parcel length in centimetres.
- Width – parcel width in centimetres.
- Height – parcel height in centimetres.
- Weight – default parcel weight in kilograms.
Adding a new parcel
To add a new parcel, click the Add parcel button located in the top right-hand corner of the table. After clicking, a form will be displayed where all required data must be completed:
- Parcel name
- Dimensions: length, width, height
- Weight
After completing the data, submit the form so that the new parcel appears on the list.
Deleting parcels
From this tab, it is also possible to delete previously defined parcels. To do this, select the parcel and then click the bin icon on the right-hand side.
Notes
- Parcels created here can be used automatically when creating shipping labels.
- It is worth defining several of the most frequently used parcels, which significantly speeds up the process of placing courier orders.
- The data entered here can be edited at any time.
